The Atayal Group Performs @ Queen E.
Queen E. Royals welcomed the Atayal peoples, an Indigenous group from Taiwan. The 21 member group of elementary, junior high and high school students, entertained the whole school with cultural dances and music. Many of their instruments and cultural wear were hand-made. The performers kept the audience engaged throughout the 45 minutes they spent with us. Part of the performance included a Power-Point about their history as an Indigenous group in Taiwan. It was quite memorable!
